Toning It Up Thursday

Toning It Up Thursday

One more day till the weekend, how exciting!! So this week has been pretty crazy so I thought instead of bugging Bob about some tips, I’ll just give you some  of the workouts/exercises that I have been doing lately.

Being that I am going to start working full-time from home, I might actually join the gym again. I would only go 2-3 days a week as I like doing cardio first thing in the morning and can’t expect the babysitter (Grandma) to come out at 5am for me to workout. We have a great treadmill so why not keep doing my cardio in the morning.

This week I have been feeling a little off (Next week is that special  time…TMI) but have gotten in some good workouts. Here are some of the workouts that I have been doing and you should really try them out.

Try to do this fat-burning circuit from Fab Fit Cities 2 or 3 times a week and you’ll burn fat and tone your muscles which is the perfect recipe for melting away inches!

This one is really good and I added a HIIT to it as well – was also able to do it in a hotel room which is always a bonus!

10-10-10 Strength & Cardio Circuit | Sweet Tooth, Sweet Life - her blog is AMAZING!!

This workout has been a favorite of mine for a while. Courtney gives super great workouts. Love her!!

I do this workout when I don’t want to do weights or a full hour of cardio. Def gets you sweating and muscles feel the burn.

What is your favorite workout?

Tank Top Tuesday

Tank Top Tuesday

The first day of Summer is June 21st so we have just about 4.5 months to get tank top ready. I have a hard time toning my arms, I can do tons of lateral raises, tricep kickbacks, shoulder press, etc., but nothing. This year I am determined to have some toned arms. My legs have always been the muscle group that have been easier to tone and I think it’s all the years of dancing & teaching dance. Anyways, here is one of my favorite arm workouts. Add this workout to your regular exercise routine (plus some healthy eating) and you will be sporting some great tank tops this summer.
