Totes Excited…

So, I am officially a brand ambassador for a great website called, Cents of Style. I found out about them from actually, my mom, thanks Patty. I have really gotten into the whole online shopping thing the past few years and usually buy from places like Old Navy, Forever21, Target, etc. where I know my sizes but I always have a hard time finding necklaces, starves, bracelets, etc. until I found sites like Cents of Style.

Cents of Style  began in 2007 with two fabulous founders, Courtney Brown & Brennan Lau. They have two great mottos…one, you do not have to spend a lot to look great, and two, when you look good, you feel good. I love both of those mottos and def don’t think you need to spend a lot to look great. Another great thing about this website, besides all the adorable products is that they have free shipping, always!! SWEET!!

Here are some of my favorite products from the site that will need to be in my closet, SOON!

When you have time, make sure you check out there website as well as their Facebook page as they always have great posts. Happy Shopping! Cheers!

Just Another Manic Monday…

Just Another Manic Monday…

HELLO!! How are you all doing? How was your weekend? Things on this end are going well. We had a rather fun & busy weekend. Friday, it’s snowed (about 3.5 inches) so once Bob got home, we packed up the little one and did some shopping for the week. It wasn’t that bad outside and felt good to get out for a little bit.

Saturday, I got up early and did a little cardio while Bob trained a few hours. Then once Keely was fed and dressed for the day (& Bob was home from work), we headed out to do a little “clothes” shopping. We had some gift cards that needed to be used so why not make use of them and enjoy a little vitamin D (it was sunny all day but still only about 30 degrees). I ended up buying a black blouse, yellow skirt & navy striped shirt (will look so cute with my yellow necklace & white skinnies) from H&M and a brown crossbody from DSW. Bob bought some pretty SWEET looking converse from DSW as well.

After our shopping trip, we grabbed lunch at McNally’s Irish Pub (another gift card) and Keely was totally flirting with the bus boy…ha-ha. We didn’t get home till close to 3pm so we just hung at home the rest of the night and watched I Love You, Man — favorite movie (I will see you there, or I will see on another time…classic). On Sunday, I slept in a little bit then once everyone was up, we all had breakfast, eggs & chocolate chip pancakes. YUM!! After breakfast, I quickly ran to Trader Joes for a few things, I heart that place! I ended up buying Cookie Butter and I think it was a HUGE mistake as it’s dangerously good!!

After Keely went down for a nap, I did a little Jillian Michael’s Yoga, she always knows how to give me a good stretch & get me sweating. The rest of Sunday consisted of cleaning and food prepping for the week. Banana bread & oatmeal muffins were made for the week…YUM (again)! Today, I have some work to get done while Keely is napping so hopefully she takes a long one for me…:) Before I get this day going I wanted to give you a little preview of what I am planning, workout wise this week…

Monday – Cardio & Abs

Tuesday – this awesome workout…

Pinned Image

Wednesday – 15 Mins HIIT & 20 Mins Yoga plus Abs

Happy Friday Everyone! I am SO happy today is Friday and can’t wait to get home to my sweets. I have been in Pittsburgh since Wednesday for a meeting. I am looking forward to warmer weather this weekend so that Keely and I can go for a walk. I also have some exciting and sad news, I have officially put in my two weeks at my current job (:() but will be a starting another job on April 22nd. I am able to work at home & travel for tradeshows that I will be directing. I’m looking forward to spending more time at home but know I have to stay focused so that I can get work done. I am sad to leave my current job as it was my first job out of college plus I have been here for over 6 years. I love the people at my current job & love my job but it was time for a new start. I needed/wanted this change. Wish me luck!!

What I Ate Wednesday

What I Ate Wednesday

Hello, Wednesday & another addition of What I Ate Wednesday. Well actually, it’s more like “What I Ate Monday”…the reason you ask, because I had some yummy meals planned for Monday rather than Tuesday. So here are my eats from Monday…

Picture 001

8:30AM – Breakfast with the Munchkin – Scrambled eggs with spinach & cheese, bagel thin with veggie cream cheese, fruit & hot water with honey & ACV (Keely had the same – minus the water w/honey & ACV & yes, that’s cream cheese under her nose…ha-ha)

Motivational Monday

Motivational Monday

Happy Monday! Did you all have a good weekend? Ours was nice and I am loving the sunshine we have been getting now we just need some warmer weather. Anyways, this weekend consisted of some grocery shopping, cleaning, Gymboree and a visit from our friend and his daughter. Abby and Keely played so well together and they are nine years apart. Keely loves all kids but she really likes older kids between 6-12 for some odd reason.

I wanted to post some motivational quotes I found on no other than Pinterest because Mondays can be hard for people to get motivated. When I use to work Mondays in the office, I would never get a good night sleep on Sunday and would hate getting up earlier to workout but knew I had to do it. I love being at home on Mondays & Fridays but I still make sure to get up earlier so that I can be ready to go for the day before Keely gets up.

I do most of my weekly planning on Sundays but I am okay if I wait till Monday to figure out the week. So for those of you that have a hard time getting motivated on Mondays, here are some wonderful quotes.

Happy Friday Everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful week, I must say, it’s gone by pretty fast. Did you hug your sweets extra long yesterday for Valentine’s Day? I know I did and couldn’t have asked for two better valentines. Now onto my Friday Facts…

*TGIF

*I bought myself a yellow bubble necklace from Very Jane and can’t wait to get it. I think it will be a major staple in my outfits for the spring & summer.

*Here are two outfits I am planning to recreate with my new necklace

"Spring / Summer 2013 Turquoise and Yellow Outfit"

Have a shirt like this and just bought a yellow bubble necklace...love!

*The toddler tantrums are really starting but after a few seconds, it’s on to something else.

*For Lent, I am going to try to limit desserts (yes, it’s going to be hard). I’m not big on giving something up but I thought I can limit myself to 1-2 desserts a week. Usually my desserts consists of a mini york peppermint patty or piece of TJ’s dark chocolate. Wish me luck!!

*I am planning to do a little shopping this week. I have a gift card to the outlet mall by work so I think I might hit up H&M and/or Forever21. Looking for striped shirts.

*I can’t wait for Spring!

*Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Before I leave, here are some pictures from our Valentine’s Day! Cheers!!

Weekend of FUN!!

Weekend of FUN!!

Happy Monday Everyone!! Did you all have a good weekend? We had a very nice weekend. It started out with Thursday taking a little trip to Tar-Jay for some weekly shopping. OMG, they have such CUTE spring clothes out right now, I could’ve gone crazy in there but I had a toddler with me that was approaching her naptime.

Once we got home, Keely had a little snack and some milk then she went down for a nap and I did some work. Bob was working midnights since Monday night so I wanted to make sure we kept things quite for him. He got a call around 3pm saying that they needed him there by 5pm so he got ready really quickly and headed out to work till about 11pm. Keely and I had dinner together and danced the night away to Elmo’s singing with the stars.

Friday, I got up nice and early, completed a workout & got ready for the day. Bob was home and we were able to hang out all day long. I made a fast trip to pick up some Valentine’s Day gifts then again, we just hung out the rest of the day. I also got in some work while Keely slept for 2.5 hours – AMAZEBALLS! Saturday, Keely and I went to Gymboree then Trader Joe’s. Once we got home and Bob got home from work, we headed to the zoo. It was a little cold but still a lot of fun. Keely loved watching all the fish and seeing the penguins.

After the zoo, we headed over to Bob’s client’s restaurant and WOW, was that some good BBQ. It was such a cool place and if any of you live in the Westmont area, make sure to check it out – BEST BBQ We didn’t get home till about 5:30PM so it was a rather long day. Keely had her bath then it was bedtime and we watched some TV and had a drink.

Sunday, we just relaxed all day long. I got the cleaning done by 10am and had the rest of the day free which was so nice. It was a rainy day so hanging out inside seemed like the best plan. We also watched the start of season 3 of The Walking Dead because the second half of the season starts tonight. If you are not watching, you BETTER start because it’s AMAZING!

Well now, it’s time to get things ready for the week. I am making spinach muffins for Keely, plus some healthy banana bread & have already completed my second day of the third week of Winter Shape-up. Again, make sure you join me because it’s pretty awesome and you will feel wonderful…Winter Shape-Up Week 3

I will leave you with some fun pictures from the weekend. Have a great Monday (Bachelor Night). Cheers!

Friday Faves

Friday Faves

TGIF Everyone!! Hope you all had an amazing week and are excited for the weekend. We are planning to go to the zoo tomorrow and I can’t wait. Even though it’s only in the 30’s here, it’s still fun to go to the zoo and run from exhibit to exhibit. Keely and I will also be going to Gymboree in the morning. I have two more classes left for her then I either need to renew or pick another place and I am thinking of trying out MyGym. Have any of you mommies gone to MyGym? So I wanted to do a Friday Faves post with some of my favorite things from the week. Hope you enjoy it…
